In 2009 the New York Post reported that a Long Island debt-collection law firm, Forster & Garbus, was suing Allie Boy Persico (son of Carmine “The Snake”) for $34,000 in unpaid credit card bills owed to the Bank of America. The irony was thick.

The paper asked, “What are they going to do, bust his kneecaps?”

When their attempts to collect began, the firm had Allie Boy’s address as being in Bensonhurst, and were completely unaware that he’d taken up residence many years before in the California federal penitentiary system.
