Throughout the 1920’s in Chicago, there was a bitter rivalry going on between the North Side Gang and the South Side Gang. Some notable people of the North Side Gang were: Dean O’Bannion, Hymie Weiss, and Bugs Moran; on the South Side Gang, you had Johnny Torrio, and most famously known, Al Capone. For years, the two gangs engaged in a bloody feud that included robbery, arson, and murder. The tension finally got the better of Capone in 1929, when he allegedly ordered the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
