At Christmastime, John Gotti Sr. was known to freely distribute a very special Remy Martin cognac, Louis XIII, which cost $1,500 a bottle. Gotti either got it for free from some guy he was shaking down or it “fell off a back of a truck.” Either way, they were really nice bottles, Baccarat crystal and the best booze.
