William “Willie the Rat” Dominick Cammisano Sr. was a notorious mobster and enforcer for the Kansas City crime family. With a lengthy criminal record and a penchant for theft and violence, Cammisano once served time in El Reno federal prison for interstate shipment of stolen goods. In the 1940s, he opened a tavern in Kansas City named the El Reno Bar, humorously referencing his favorite prison. Alongside his brother Joe, Cammisano expanded his criminal enterprises, including owning lucrative gambling operations.
