In the 1980’s Harold Garber, an Atlantic City criminal defense attorney represented Little Nicky Scarfo on a murder trial. When it comes time for opening arguments, Harold was the first to go. He got up and said, “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Harold Garber and I represent Nicodemo Scarfo. The evidence in this case will show that Mr. Scarfo is not guilty. Thank you,” and then he sat down. That was his whole opening argument. If Little Nicky could have killed him right there, he would have.
