One time, Tony “The Ant” Spilotro was reportedly observed having breakfast in one of the casinos, a violation for Tony who’d been black-booked. A detective was dispatched and arrested Spilotro, who was unable to provide any identification.
Another detective got word of the arrest and went to the booking area to check things out and in a matter of seconds realized there’d been a mistake. The detective sent to the casino arrested a Spilotro, but it wasn’t Tony. The cops had taken Patrick Spilotro into custody, a dentist from Chicago, who was Tony’s brother, who had a strong physical resemblance. Patrick had every right to be in any casino he chose to patronize.
