When Martin “Buggsy” Goldstein and Harry “Pittsburgh Phil” Strauss, partners in crime, were sentenced to death at Sing Sing’s electric chair, “Buggsy” Goldstein shouted ‘Same to You’ at Judge John J. Fitzgerald, while “Pittsburgh Phil” remained mum–as usual. The pair were found guilty of the murder of Irving “Puggy” Feinstein on Labor Day of 1939.
